Another Bad Week for Equities
With so much uncertainty in the world finance markets, and the stock market always reacting to news in the NOW
It is no surprise that this week witnessed over £72bn (YES £72,000,000,000) wiped from the stock market values in the FTSE 100.
With pension funds investing in equities – then why would it be surprising news that research, by the National Association of Pension Funds, also found the number of people believing a pension is the best way to save for retirement fell from 45% to 35%.
Property investment is not for everyone and should always be considered as part of a balanced portfolio, having said that – it does offer a solid hedge against inflation and can deliver solid returns.
